OneLIC Plan Enters Public Review
The public review process (ULURP) for the OneLIC Neighborhood Plan has officially begun, and it’s time for Astoria residents to make their voices heard.
The plan proposes nearly 15,000 new housing units — including 4,000 permanently affordable — over 14,000 new jobs, and 3.5 million square feet of new commercial and industrial space. It also calls for expanded public access to the LIC waterfront, from Gantry Plaza to Queensbridge Park. This is the fifth major neighborhood rezoning under the Adams administration and follows two years of community input.
As part of the ULURP process, Queens Community Boards 1 and 2 and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards will issue recommendations before a final City Council vote. You can give your input at:
OneLIC Public Hearing

OANA encourages residents to attend and speak up. Let’s ensure this plan reflects equitable, sustainable growth driven by real community input.
