Applications Open for Socrateens Fall/Winter 2026 (Deadline August 31st)

Socrates Sculpture Park is accepting applications for its Fall/Winter 2026 Socrateens program, a free, year-long experimental art-making program for Queens high school students. The Fall/Winter cohort will meet Wednesdays from 4–6 p.m. at the Park, where teens will work alongside artists and educators to explore environmental justice through art, technology, and civic engagement. No prior art experience is required.

Participants will be paid $18 per hour, with light snacks and beverages provided.

Applications are open through August 31, with rolling review. The Fall/Winter session runs from September 16 through December 9, 2026. The program is open to teens ages 13–19.
