New Senior Housing Development Opens Lottery for Affordable Units

A new housing lottery has opened for seniors at the 7-story development located at 3-11 27th Ave. in Astoria, offering 13 affordable units with rents starting at $1,500. Eligible seniors must be at least 62 years old and meet income requirements ranging from $53,280 to $134,160 annually, depending on household size.

The building features amenities such as high-end finishes, energy-efficient appliances, and a community center. Interested applicants have until February 27 to submit their applications online or by mail through NYC Housing Connect.
