Where We Live NYC Fair Housing Initiative
The Where We Live NYC initiative is part of HPD’s fair housing policy to make sure every New Yorker has meaningful access to housing choices and equal opportunities, regardless of race, immigration status, sexual orientation, or other identities.
This summer, HPD is bringing the initiative to local libraries across all five boroughs, including Astoria. Throughout August and September, you can:
- Learn about your rights and protections against housing discrimination.
- Share your housing experiences and ideas to make NYC more inclusive.
- Access valuable housing resources.
- Attend film screenings, know-your-rights sessions, and special events for young adults.
Your feedback will help shape new commitments to make NYC a fairer place to live.
