Upcoming at Noguchi

This December, The Noguchi Museum celebrates its 40th anniversary with the special exhibition, Against Time: The Noguchi Museum 40th Anniversary Reinstallation. This key installation revisits highlights from the permanent collection displayed on the second floor. The museum welcomes visitors Wednesday through Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm, remaining open until March 2025. Please note the museum will be closed on December 25 (Christmas Day) and January 1 (New Year’s Day).

Upcoming Events:

• Mindfulness in the Galleries: On December 14, begin your day in serenity with a session of guided meditation amid the inspiring works of Isamu Noguchi.
• Art for Families: Inspiration: Also on December 14, families are invited to engage in art-making activities influenced by Noguchi’s international travels, creating personal ink paintings.
• Drawing from a Distance: Participate in a virtual drawing workshop on December 16, focusing on the museum’s unique spaces, available via Zoom.

Plan your visit to coincide with our special days this December:

• Free First Friday: On December 6, enjoy complimentary admission to the museum. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
• Noguchi Holidays: Join us on December 21 for educational activities that explore the life and legacy of Isamu Noguchi.
