Support Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens This June!
This June, the Old Astoria Neighborhood Association is proud to support the Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens in their One Campaign fundraiser—we hope you can too!
Featured Programs at Variety Boys and Girls Club:
- STEM: Children participate in hands-on scientific experiments and technological activities, including making lava lamps and flying drones, fostering creativity and learning.
- Caring: Programs emphasize compassion and community service, with initiatives like partnerships with the Floating Hospital and global good deeds efforts.
- Grow: At the club’s one-acre rooftop farm, youth learn about urban agriculture and sustainability, gaining practical skills in gardening and healthy eating.
- Fun: The club ensures that fun is a part of every activity, from basketball games to summer trips and engaging partnerships.
We invite you to help continue and expand these important programs. Your contributions empower children to learn, grow, and enjoy their childhood.
Donate today and make a difference. A special thanks to Costa Constantinides, a key advocate from our board, who also leads the Variety Boys and Girls Club as CEO.
