Public Hearings Set on Con Ed’s Proposed Rate Hike (April 8th & 9th)

OANA President Richard Khuzami joined various Queens community leaders at a press event regarding the 16% proposed rate hike being requested by Con Edison. Sponsored and hosted by Borough President Donovan Richards, this rate hike request affects everyone—from residents and businesses to government services.

The rate hike must be approved by the NYS Public Service Commission, which is holding public hearings on April 8 and 9. We urge everyone to make their opinions known.
