Public Hearing Notice—Proposal to Build a School in Astoria Houses (Dec 17th)

There will be a Public Hearing on December 17th to discuss the proposal for creating an Elementary and Middle School on the NYCHA Astoria Houses campus. This addition aims to alleviate strain on the school system and reduce class sizes. However, potential concerns include the loss of some parking and playground space.
