Open Call: The Socrates Annual Fellowship 2025

Socrates Sculpture Park’s annual fellowship is now open for early career artists to apply for applications. This fellowship provides an exciting opprotunity for newer artists to create public artwork and participate in an exhibition from September 2025 to March 2026.

• Application Deadline: November 15, 2024, 11:59 PM
• Funding: Up to $8,000 production grant, $2,000 honorarium, access to the park’s facilities and staff suppor

The theme this year is called “Up/rooted” and explores the dynamic of dislocation and resilience through the lens of environmental sustainability and urban transformation.

Artists should submit proposals that reflect on ecological and social landscapes, and use a multidisciplinary approach that engages with the park’s spaces.
