OANA AOC COVID Recognition

OANA has received the following request from the Office of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. She has asked us to help in outreach to the community to recognize those whose lives and family suffered losses due to COVID 19.

“Over the past 3 months, COVID-19 has taken the lives of so many in NY-14. The Congresswoman would like to personally extend her condolences to our community members in the Bronx and Queens who have lost loved ones. She will also seek to memorialize victims from the 14th District on the House Floor at a future date. If you, your colleagues, or your members know of constituents who have passed, or of constituents who have lost loved ones, we would love the opportunity to connect with them. To submit the contact information and stories of these families please use THIS FORM.

We also know that so many members of our community have gone above and beyond to help their neighborhood and our district during this time. Our office would like to celebrate and honor those individuals. Please fill out THIS FORM if you or your organization would like to honor any NY-14 constituents for their service.

As a federal office we are limited to using our resources to amplify the stories of constituents of New York’s 14th Congressional District. To determine if an individual is a constituent, please search their address here. “

We support any efforts to make sure those affected by COVID 19 are recognized as true community heroes.
