Art and Sound at Noguchi Museum this June

The Noguchi is hosting a series of exciting family programs exploring art and sound this June. These activities are inspired by Toshiko Takaezu’s works and include sessions for all age groups.
Art for Tots
June 2 and 5, from 10:30 to 11:30 am, young children and their caregivers can create rattles while exploring sound through Takaezu’s art. Advance registration is required.
Family Workshop with Leilehua Lanzilotti
June 16, from 10:30 am to 12 pm, families with children aged 5–11 can attend a workshop led by sound artist Leilehua Lanzilotti. This session includes crafting rattles from everyday materials, emphasizing the sensory aspects of sound.
Open Studio: Mother Earth
June 22, from 11 am to 2 pm, families can engage in art-making inspired by the natural world in a drop-in session.
