New York City Department of Small Business Services

OANA will have a speaker from the New York City Department of Small Business Services, whose mission is to help small businesses start, operate and expand in New York City. From pro bono review of legal documents and business planning assistance to training, certification and funding–if you are a business owner or prospective entrepreneur thinking about starting your own business, this is another presentation that you don’t want to miss.

Our next meeting will be on June 22nd at 7 pm at 18-08 25th Road, Astoria, NY 11102 (basement level).

Clare Doyle is a graduate of the M.A. program in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester, UK. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Studies as well as a B.A. in Archaeology and History from University Dublin, Ireland. She has worked for 30 years in library reference publishing in New York. Clare is the Vice President of Green Shores NYC, a non-profit group that advocates for a cleaner, greener and more connected waterfront in Astoria and Long Island City
