New 7-Story Mixed-Use Building Coming to Astoria Boulevard
Permits have been filed for a new 7-story mixed-use building at 23-29 Astoria Blvd., between 23rd Street and Crescent Street. The building will be 69 feet tall, featuring 10 residential units and commercial space, totaling 11,894 square feet.
Approximately 10,037 square feet will be for residential use, with the average unit around 1,000 square feet, likely condos. The remaining 1,857 square feet will be commercial space. Notable features include a roof deck and an 83-foot-long rear yard. The location is near the Astoria Boulevard subway station (N and W trains).
The permit was filed by Elton Lalaj of 2357 LLC, with Anthony Cucich Architect as the architect of record. Demolition permits and an estimated completion date have not been announced.
