Fireworks and Water in Astoria Park!

June 27th was indeed a momentous day in Astoria!!!!
The beginning of summer is heralded in a spectacular way this year!!!!!!

First: The official opening of the Astoria pool, with Mayor Eric Adams, Borough President Donovan Richards, Parks Commissioner Sue Donoghue, Council Member Tiftany Caban, and Community Board District manager Florence Koulouris and Parks Co-Chair Richard Khuzami. The newly replaced lining, filtrations, and decking are beautifully designed and constructed, and we look forward to years as one of our neighborhoods greatest assets.

Then: the Annual Fireworks in Astoria park! Presented by Central Astoria LDC, the annual event draws the largest get together of all Astorians, showing our full diversity in all its glory!!! This event in the past has drown over 10000 people, and this year is no exception.
