Con Edison Expands Bill Discount Program

We are happy to announce that Con Edison’s Energy Affordability Program (EAP) has expanded. In 2025 this program helped 500,000 customers received bill discounts. Under the new program, almost 1 million customers might be eligible.

This program was previously limited to customers enrolled in programs like SNAP, Medicaid, or HEAP, but now also supports households with incomes below the area median who are not in government assistance programs.
