Family-Friendly Summer Events at The Noguchi Museum
Every month the Noguchi Museum hosts a series of free and low-cost family events. June events feature hands-on art-making, Spanish-language workshops, gallery tours for caregivers with infants, and creative programs for children of all ages. With Socrates Sculpture Park right next door, the Noguchi is an great place to start for an art-filled weekend with your family.
Upcoming Family-Friendly Events
Gallery Kit
Friday, June 6, 3:00–5:00 PM
Pick up free art materials from educators and explore the museum with hands-on activities. This program is open to all ages, no registration required.
Art for Families: Belonging
Saturday, June 7, 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
Families with children ages 5–11 are invited to explore Noguchi’s garden and playscape designs, then create a model for a public space in the Education Studio. Free with registration.
Arte en el Noguchi
Fridays in June, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
Spanish-language art workshops for the whole family, led by artist Sol Aramendi. Free with advance registration, space limited.
Open Studio: Tools in Art
Saturday, June 21, 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
A drop-in program for families of all ages. Visit the galleries and make art inspired by everyday tools and objects. No registration required.
Stroller Tour
Sunday, June 22, 10:30–11:30 AM
This guided tour is for parents and caregivers with infants (0–12 months). Learn about Noguchi’s work while your child engages with sensory experiences. Includes time afterward to connect with other families in the Education Room. Registration required.
