Excavation Beginning at 30-11 12th Street
Construction activity will be starting on 30-11 12th Street, on the southeast corner of 12th Street and 30th Avenue, which will be home to a new nine-story residential building.
The former building on the site has already been demolished, and some heavy machinery can now be seen on location along with the construction crew. The project is being led up by developer Samuel Teitelbaum of Palm Tree Consulting.
Once completed, the building will rise 91 feet and include 124 rental apartments, with an average unit size of about 760 square feet. Plans also show a 31-foot rear yard, balconies on multiple floors, and private terraces created by setbacks at the sixth floor. A landscaped rooftop terrace is also part of the design.
The exterior will primarily feature red brick with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass balcony doors, along with gray paneling on the upper floors.
A construction sign on site lists an anticipated completion date of October 2026, though large projects of this size often take longer, and final completion may extend into 2027.
