OANA is hosting a community debate for candidates running in the Special Election for New York State Assembly District 36.
Join us at the Hellenic Cultural Center, 2502 Newtown Ave, Astoria NY 11102 (at Crescent St). Event Starts at 6:30 PM.
Questions will be taken live at venue.
Candidates:
Rana Abdelhamid
Mary Jobaida
Diana Moreno
This will be a live, in-person event with a virtual broadcast option.
Also, streamed live via Facebook and YouTube.
Since this is a special election, candidates qualified for the ballot either through nomination by a political party with an existing ballot line or by submitting the required number of valid petition signatures by the Board of Elections deadline. Final ballot placement has been confirmed, and the above candidates will participate in the debate.
OANA encourages all residents of Assembly District 36 to attend or tune in to learn more about the candidates and the issues affecting our community.
