Saturday Night Arts at the Maspeth Town Hall
We are excited to share details about the upcoming Saturday Arts Night at the Maspeth Town Hall on November 15th at 7:00 PM. This event will bring neighbors together for an evening of creativity, conversation, and live performance.
This month’s program features two amazing local artists:
Lori J. Torone, a fiction writer and adjunct professor of English and Communication Studies, will present a short story reading. Her work has been featured in Podcastle: The Fantasy Fiction Podcast and the anthologies Museum Piece: An Unusual Collection and 99 Fleeting Fantasies. Lori was a 2024 finalist for the Speculative Literature Foundation’s Older Writers Grant!
Nathaniel Aguilar, a Queens-base composer and educator, will perform a blend of jazz improvisation and soul. Known for his skill on the vibraphone, piano, and percussion, Nathaniel’s performances are something to remember.
