Enroll in the Upcoming Port Authority Summer STEM Program for Free
The Port Authority of NY & NJ is offering a free summer STEM program at the Astoria Library for kids in grades 5-8. Enrollment ends Friday, June 20th.
The program runs July 14-31, Monday through Thursday from 1:30-3:30 PM. Students will participate in hands-on activities including building water rockets, working with circuits, exploring augmented reality, visiting a portable planetarium, designing airplanes with custom nose art, and creating solar-powered bugs! Lunch is provided daily from 1-1:30 PM.
This aviation-focused program is presented in partnership with the Astoria Branch of the Queens Public Library, Mentors on the Move 4 Life, and local assemblywomen Jessica González-Rojas and Lorinda C. Hooks.

The program is completely free of charge.
