Deadline Extended for Noguchi’s Paid Teen Art Program “Making Your Mark”
The The Noguchi Museum has extended the application deadline for its “Making Your Mark” summer art-making intensive for New York City public high school juniors and seniors to May 31. The paid studio program invites students to explore sculpture, creativity, identity, and interdisciplinary art-making while drawing inspiration from artist Isamu Noguchi and the museum’s current exhibition, “Noguchi’s New York.”
The program will run Mondays through Thursdays from July 6–31 at the museum’s Long Island City campus and will conclude with a public student exhibition on July 31. Participants will receive all art materials, a $600 stipend for full participation, and optional transportation reimbursement.
