Construction on Shore Blvd and 21st Ave

OANA has received numerous inquiries on the construction going on at 21st Ave and Shore Blvd. The Shoreline Reconstruction project kicked off in October 2023 at Ralph Demarco Park, aiming to fix the damage Hurricane Sandy left behind in this very area. It’s a big deal for the neighborhood, promising to bring back our shoreline better than ever.

Funded with a hefty $7,733,000 from federal and mayoral coffers, the project’s set to wrap up by October 2024. For folks around here, that means watching our community space get a much-needed facelift and stronger defenses against mother nature’s mood swings.
