Community Board 1 Opens Applications for Public Members

Community Board 1 in Queens is now accepting applications for Public Members. Applicants are invited to join committees and help offering their expertise to the community. The deadline to apply is August 4, 2024.

Public Members will have voting privileges within their committees and are expected to fully participate. While they do not attend monthly full board meetings as voting members, their presence is encouraged. Members will represent the entire district rather than specific organizations.

To qualify, applicants must live in and have a significant interest in CB1, Queens. Interested residents can fill out the digital application here.
