Celebrate Lunar New Year with Family Programs at The Noguchi
This month the Noguchi is hosting a variety of family programs in celebration of the Lunar New Year, including creative activities suitable for all ages. Check them out below!
Open Studio: Lunar New Year
On Saturday, February 1, from 10 am to 1 pm, families with children of all ages are invited are invited to enjoy the Noguchi’s Lunar light sculptures and create a layered mixed-media collage. This session is free with museum admission, and no advance registration is required.
Gallery Kit: Lunar New Year
On Friday, February 7, from 3 pm to 5 pm, the museum will host a special art-making session in the galleries. Admission is free all day, allowing visitors of all ages to explore and create at their leisure.
Art for Families: Illumination
On Sunday, February 9, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm there will be a family workshop focused on the use of light in Noguchi’s sculptures. This event is designed for families with children ages 5–11 and encourages exploration and artistic expression.
