BQX Light Rail Project Outreach Meeting in Astoria

New York City has announced the first official step regarding public outreach for the Brooklyn Queens Connector (light rail) project. These public workshops are designed to engage residents with the project and familiarize them with the streetcar’s proposed route, as well as to solicit feedback on how aspects of the project can be improved.

In Astoria, the outreach meeting will be held on February 25 from 6:30-8:30pm) Museum of the Moving Image, 36-01 35th Avenue. If you can’t make that meeting, the Long Island City meeting will be on March 10 from 6:30-8:30pm at CUNY Law School, 2 Court Square West. You can sign up here for either or both meetings. Come and make your voice heard!
