September 2025 at Socrates Sculpture Park

We are excited to share some details about events happening at Socrates Sculpture Park this September. The Socrates Annual 2025: Up/rooted has officially opened, and we celebrated on September 12 with performances, artist activations, and our second Annual Artist Alumni Picnic. If you missed it, the Park still has tons of fun events coming up.

Upcoming Programs:

• Field Guide: Interactive Sound Sculpture Building | Sat, Sept 20 | 12–4 PM
  Co-create interactive sound sculptures with Buena Onda Collective using natural and repurposed materials. Free with RSVP.

• Climate Week Community Clean Up Day | Sun, Sept 21 | 12–2 PM
  Help tend the coastal ecosystem at Socrates and Hallet’s Cove Beach. No gardening experience needed. Free with RSVP.

• Ofrenda Fest with Guatemaya Curandera Tz’ules | Sun, Sept 21 | 2–5 PM
  Celebrate International Peace Day through ceremony and prayer, highlighting indigenous wisdom and fostering multicultural understanding. Free with RSVP.

• Yoga at Socrates with Astoria Yoga | Sundays through Sept 28
  Free Vinyasa yoga classes for all levels. Bring a mat or towel.
