Op-Ed: Tax Smarter: Reward Investment, Not Self-Enrichment

The following op ed is about a general topic, not specific to the Old Astoria Neighborhood Association (OANA)’s scope, but more nationwide. (I am President of OANA, and also CB1 member for 25 years). I have also created 2 versions, one abbreviated. Because they are not specific to OANA’s scope, or not been voted on by the Community Board, these are personal reflections. But given the current federal budget process, it is an important topic to address.
