Flux Factory Accessibility Fellowship
Attention artists! Monday December 17 at 11.59 pm is the deadline to apply for the inaugural Flux Factory Accessibility Fellowship. This fellowship, which consists of a subsidized two month residency and artwork commission opportunity to one disabled artist during the Spring of 2019, is being offered by Flux Factory in partnership with the DCLA Create NYC Disability Forward Fund.
This opportunity is in conjunction with a Flux Factory Major Group Exhibition, tentatively titled Art and Accessibility, curated by Lexy Ho-Tai which will run from May 10th to June 9th 2019. The exhibition will include works and performances by disabled artists, an adaptive art education program, panel discussions and conversations about inclusion and accessibility in the arts, through the lens of disability. The artist Fellow will be invited to produce a new work for this exhibition.
