The Socrates Sculpture Park March newsletter highlights the area’s rich history, built on the ancestral land of the Lenape, Carnarsie, and Matinecock Peoples. In this spirit, the park remains dedicated to art, community, and environmental stewardship. As both a creative hub and a stop on a “migration highway” for wildlife, Socrates is committed to sustainability and transformation—themes reflected in many of its installations over the years.
Upcoming Highlights:
The Socrates Annual 2024 (Sept. 14 – April 6) – Exploring Invasive Species through art.
Socrateens Exhibition (April 5) – NYC high schoolers showcase work on sustainability.
Socrates Gala 2025 (June 5) – A night of art, cocktails, and celebration.
Visit daily from 9 AM to sunset—admission is always free. We hope you’ll enjoy all the park has to offer this spring!
