MTA-NYC Transit’s Queens Bus Network Redesign Public Virtual Briefing

The MTA-NYC Transit’s Queens Bus Network Redesign Team will be hosting a public virtual briefing to present participants with an overview of the New Draft Plan for the Queens Bus Network Redesign. Unlike the former proposal, the new reimagined plan takes into consideration Queens Bus Network through the lens of elected stakeholders and customer comments. The New Draft Plan’s plan and outreach will build upon the lessons learned from the initial scope back in 2020. The MTA is seeking input from the New York City’s Department for the Aging (DFTA) as they inform stakeholders more in-depth about the plan.

The briefing will be held on Thursday, March 31st, from 6:30-8:30 pm over Zoom. Participants will receive not only a borough-wide overview of the New Draft Plan but will also be able to discuss the public outreach timeline, the process for customer and community input, and review a sampling of local and express route proposals. MTA-NYC Transit’s Queens Bus Network Redesign Team hopes to have as many stakeholders as possible in attendance. The briefing will accommodate Spanish, Mandarin, Bangla, and Korean speakers, thereby bringing accessibility and community engagement. To RSVP, please click here and fill out the form. Upon submission, the Zoom link will appear on the next page. Please copy the link and keep it in your records.
