Holiday Tree Lighting in Astoria Park
Please join Central Astoria LDC for their 6th annual Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 1st. Join your friends and neighbors on the Great Lawn at Astoria Park from 2- 5 pm for an afternoon filled with music, train rides and fun for all the family! Free popcorn while supplies last. Train rides will be from 2 pm to 4.30 pm—you must be on line by 4 pm to be sure of getting a train ride.
The fun will finish with the Tree Lighting ceremony at 5 pm. You won’t want to miss the best holiday festival in Queens!

Clare Doyle is a graduate of the M.A. program in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester, UK. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Studies as well as a B.A. in Archaeology and History from University Dublin, Ireland. She has worked for 30 years in library reference publishing in New York.
