Has NaNoWriMo Got You Down?

by Clare Doyle
Every year all over the world, authors and would-be authors sign themselves up for National Novel Writing Month, otherwise known as NaNoWriMo. The goal is to write 50,000 words before November 30th—the average length of a novel.
If you have started that novel you always wanted to write, but you’re feeling overwhelmed and need some advice, why not turn to a Queens Library branch for help? Queens Libraries have regularly scheduled writing classes, a series of workshops developed especially for NaNoWriMo, and classes co-hosted with their partners at Newtown Literary. You will find plenty of support for your writing—so don’t sit at home staring at a blank screen, go to the library and get what you need to get writing!
