Halletts Point Building one is nearly completion

After 2 years of construction, Building One (At 10 Halletts Point) of the Durst Organization’s Halletts Point Development is nearing completion. Leasing is set to begin this summer!

Also, a much-needed supermarket, Brooklyn Harvest Market, will occupy the first floor. A fitness Center, Recreation Rooms for Kids, and Public Access Exterior Park Space and Promenade.

There are 2 towers, one of 17 stories, the other 22. There will be 405 apartments, 80 Affordable. Pricing TBD.

When it’s finally completed, Hallets Point will have more than 2400 Apartments, 483 will be Affordable. There will be a total of 7 buildings, and will include an extensive public access waterfront promenade, and school.

While Halletts has had its share of hold ups, including the delay in extending the 421A tax abatements, and current delays in securing promised bonds from NYC, we are sure that Hallets Point will serve as the anchor fueling the resurgence of Old Astoria as a destination of preference for New Yorkers and Tourists.

Combined with the NYC Ferry stop, the possibilities for positive growth are unlimited.
