Father’s Day Classic Car Show on June 16

Looking for a truly cool event this Father’s Day? You won’t want to miss the Classic Car Show that Astoria Park Alliance is hosting along Shore Boulevard beside the Park on Sunday June 16 from 11 am to 2.30 pm. Shore Blvd aka “The Strip” will be closed to traffic and over 100 classic cars will be on display. Park-goers can meet the car owners and chat with them about their vehicles, while enjoying the stunning view provided by our East River waterfront. OANA is proud to once again co-sponsor the Father’s Day Classic Car Show.

Last year’s show was a great success, and D.B. Reilly return this year to provide live music. Craft activities, food and gift vendors will also be found on Shore Blvd.  While the event is free to the public there is a $20 entry fee for each vehicle.

Astoria Park Alliance is looking for volunteers to help out on the day of the Car Show, in two shifts: 8 am to noon, or noon to 4 pm. If you can help out, please email APA at getinvolved@astoriaparkalliance.org
