NYC Councilman Costa Constantanides

This meeting will feature NYC Councilman Costa Constantanides discussing his plan for the revitalization of Astoria Park.

He is proposing the following:

• Create a designated soccer field for the first time in Astoria
• Upgrades at Charybdis Playground
• Invest in erosion control to keep park paths in good condition
• Upgrades to the bathrooms and locker rooms at the pool complex
• Move forward with phase 1 of the Amphitheater project, making the old diving pool space active for the first time in decades

The Councilman is looking for input from the neighborhood, and OANA has invited him to hear our wishes and concerns.
Concerns about Astoria Park are the most frequent issue we hear about. We have a chance to address some of these issues.
