It is more than just a shadow study. We already have a very tall building that stands out like a sore thumb. It does not fit in with the surrounding area and the density would negatively impact the quality of lif on the waterfront. No matter what they promise the community, the harm will be done.

The Republicans had abandoned the district, but as someone who is repeatedly excluded by socialists I decided to run for office to help revive thee Republican party in the district. You can look up my campaign website at licgop.com

I have an endorsement from a Greek American who wrote an incredible endorsement letter. You can read it at https://www.instagram.com/djelfseven/p/Dbvuy9FDgws/

If DSA is not meeting your needs then I encourage you to sign up for my newsletter and join the lic gop facebook group so we can organize together and bring back balance to the politics in our community.

It should be noted that there are currently over 2,000 petition signatures against the bubble entirely as opposed to only 300 petition signatures that are in favor of it. To be clear the individuals who lead and were in favor of the bubble did not discuss this with the entire Astoria community. While we recognize the Community Board has to take all sides into consideration we hope they consider what the majority of the Astoria community wants. We commend the hard work QCB1 does for the neighborhood.

I think the fact that they didn’t wait to go back to court and get approval from the judge who blocked them is contempt of the judge, FDNY, and the entire community.

If this is fair, then Roosevelt Island’s Resident Association must be formally included in all planning and development discussions for Western Queens. As decisions made on those streets and services will directly affect Roosevelt Islan residents.
