La La Land in Astoria Park

On Friday June 9 from 8 to 10.30 pm, join the Astoria Park Alliance for APA Presents Movies Under the Stars: La La Land. Thanks to the generous partnership of Benedict Realty Group, there will be free popcorn for all attendees and a blanket giveaway for the first 50.

The Oscar-nominated La La Land will be screened on the great lawn of Astoria Park at sundown, around 8:15 pm. Moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own blankets and picnics for the inaugural movie night, which the Astoria Park Alliance hopes will become an annual tradition.

She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Studies as well as a B.A. in Archaeology and History from University Dublin, Ireland.
