Applications Open for Socrateens Spring/Summer 2026 at Socrates Sculpture Park

Applications are now open for Socrateens Spring/Summer 2026, a paid art-making program for teens at Socrates Sculpture Park.

The program brings together high school students from Queens to meet weekly at the park and work with artists and educators to explore art, process, and place. This year’s program will be facilitated by Earth Convergence and park staff focusing on environmental justice through connecting art, technology, and civic engagement.

Sessions take place Wednesdays from 4–6 PM at the park, and participants are paid $18 per hour. The program runs April through June 24, and teens will also help facilitate the park’s Earth Month Convergence event on April 18–19.

Teens ages 13–19 are eligible and no prior art experience is required. Applications are open through March 31!
