Plans for Astoria Park Tennis Bubble Under Review
Community discussions are underway about potentially covering the tennis courts at Astoria Park with a bubble or tent, allowing for year-round play. Residents and Community Board 1 are weighing options, including the impact on the park, trees, and possible user fees. OANA President Richard Khuzami, who chairs CB1’s Parks Committee, emphasized the need for more detailed plans before any decisions are made.

We will announce updates and plans for neighborhood meetings as they become available.
