NYC Ferry Summer 2025 Schedule Updates

Heads up, Astoria and Long Island City ferry riders! A new Summer schedule will be going into effect May 19th. Here are some of the key changes below:

• Rockaway Route: Will opperate every 45 minutes weekdays from 3:45–8:00pm. Note: Limited Rockaway East Shuttle Bus service during afternoon peak.
• Updated Departure Times: The Astoria, Rockaway, Soundview, and South Brooklyn routes have adjusted weekday schedules. Check the NYC Ferry app or website for updated times.
• Governors Island Service: Summer weekends and holidays, a direct shuttle from Pier 11 will run. Riders can transfer for free at Wall St./Pier 11.
• Memorial Day Weekend & Juneteenth: Rockaway service will run more frequently
• Governors Island Tickets: No machines at Pier 101. Use the NYC Ferry app or buy paper tickets elsewhere. A ticket agent will be available from noon–6pm daily.
