Queensbridge Residents Protest for Affordable Housing (Dec 8th)

This Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 1:30 PM, the Queensbridge Residents Association will host a protest on 40th Avenue between 10th and 11th Streets to oppose a proposed homeless shelter in the Queensbridge public housing community.

Residents are advocating for permanent affordable housing rather than short-term solutions like shelters, emphasizing the need for equitable development in underserved neighborhoods. All are welcome to attend!
