Green Space September Update

Green Space is a cultural venue in Astoria dedicated to fostering creativity and community through dance and the performing arts. They recently released their September schedule which includes several exciting events.

Check out the FREE “Skimming the Surface” movement healing workshop on September 10th. Guided by Valerie, this session helps participants address stress and emotional blockages through movement.

On September 20th-21st, you can catch “Take Root,” a performance featuring Benjamin Briones Ballet and Alison Cook Beatty Dance, which explores pieces by emerging choreographers.

Then, “Fertile Ground” will be on September 22nd, where six emerging choreographers showcase their talents, followed by a discussion with the artists.

Finally, the “Somatic Healing Group” begins on September 24th, offering bi-weekly sessions that use movement to foster physical, emotional, and mental growth.
