OANA’s May Meeting
Our next meeting will be on May 17th at 7 pm at 18-08 25th Road, Astoria, NY 11102 (basement level).
We are excited to present Cornell Tech, the new University opening on Roosevelt Island. This will be a graduate school concentrating on tech. Old Astoria is connected to this campus by the Roosevelt Island Bridge on 36th avenue and this connection can provide opportunities for residences and businesses in Old Astoria. This can be another facet in the tremendous growth we now enjoy.
Norman Chan, District Manager of the NYC Parks Department will be joining us for an update on Parks and Recreation in Old Astoria.
This meeting will also feature an update by the Durst Organization on their Western Queens projects, including Hallets Point.
In addition, we will be joined by the NYPD 114th Precinct.
Food will be provided by Made In Astoria
(NOTE: Our Venue has limited capacity. It is extremely important that you RSVP to rsvp@oana-ny.org if you plan on attending. If response is more than our current venue can handle , we will move to accommodate everyone).
