A New Production from APAC
The crew at APAC (the Astoria Performing Arts Center) is rehearsing the world premiere production of Veil’d, a play by Monet Hurst-Mendoza, and the excitement about their new production is mounting!
Veil’d tells the story of Dima, a 16-year old girl with a rare skin condition who gets by with the support of her family and some secret friends–a poet and a talking shark. The play features Sahar Bibiyan, Rajesh Bose, Christopher Reed Brown, Kayla Jackmon, and Nikhaar Kishnani.
Veil’d runs from November 2 through November 18 at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (30-44 Crescent St, Astoria). Performances are on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Saturdays at 2pm.
Tickets are $18 for adults ($12 for students and senior citizens) and are available for purchase here. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office an hour prior to each performance.
See you at Veil’d!
